As a little girl I cherished the holidays to Ameland every year. It was always a special occasion spent with the family. We stayed in different accommodations ranging from small houses to camping on the dunes. But as we got older, my parents wanted something even more in line with their ideas of the perfect holiday destination.

After several years of searching and negotiating, they finally bought our family home in Duinhoeve. This was a milestone in our family life. It gave us the opportunity to visit the island more often and to immerse ourselves in the beauty of Ameland.

The moment we got on the boat there was always a sense of excitement and excitement. It was the feeling of coming home. When I arrived in Duinhoeve, I immediately knew why my parents had bought the house. The house exuded peace and relaxation. It was like an oasis of calm in the middle of the island.

The rooms were warm and inviting, and every corner of the house was filled with personal touches that reminded us that we were in a special place. It was a place where we could really relax and enjoy each other's company.

Now that we are older and have taken the time to further renovate the house, we are proud of what we have created. Not only is it a place to holiday with family and friends, but it has also become a place where other people can experience that same sense of peace and relaxation.

It is a special feeling to know that we can let others enjoy our own experiences and memories in Duinhoeve. Every time we rent out the house, we know that we are sharing a piece of our life with others. It feels like we are doing our part to let others enjoy what makes Ameland so special.
